This License Agreement ("Agreement") is between The Journal ("Licensor") and the individual or entity who purchases and downloads the software ("Licensee"). By purchasing or using The Journal, you agree to these terms.

What you're getting

You receive a non-exclusive, worldwide, non-transferable license to download, install, modify, and use The Journal on one (1) website or deployment — your own site or a single client project. One purchase equals one installation.

You can and can't

✓  You Can
  • Use it on your own website or one client project
  • Use it for personal or commercial purposes
  • Modify the source code for your own use
  • Attribution is not required but appreciated
✕  You Can't
  • Use it on more than one site — each needs its own license
  • Resell, redistribute, or transfer the software to anyone
  • Bundle it in a product pack, template pack, or marketplace listing
  • Make it publicly available for download, free or paid

Intellectual property

The Journal and all associated source code, assets, and documentation remain the property of the Licensor. This Agreement grants you a license to use the software — it does not transfer ownership.

Provided "as is"

The Journal is provided without warranty of any kind. The Licensor makes no guarantees regarding fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation. Use at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Licensor shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software.

When the license ends

This license terminates automatically if you breach any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must stop using the software and delete all copies in your possession.
